Wall Greens Farm & Seed is a regenerative farm in North Louisiana specializing in MicroGreens production. Microgreens are the young version of a plant that actually outperforms the full grown plant in nutrients. The tender greens are great toppings and ingredients for salads, smoothies, sandwiches, and soups. You can currently enjoy our microgreens at For His Temple Family Foods in Antique Alley (West Monroe), Gibson’s Fresh Grocer (Ruston), & Mac’s Fresh Market (Chenier-Drew). Presently offering the following microgreen varieties: radish, broccoli, cabbage, kale, sunflower, pea shoots, and mustard. Those are our regulars. We grow over 10 varieties. We also have a Mild MicroMix & Spicy MicroMix that tend to be crowd favorites.

The next step is setting up an actual, physical farm stand. We are on Brownlee Road in Calhoun and we’re setting up a place that you can conveniently pick up local produce without going to a store. We grow a lot of stuff, so we’re working on getting these veggies in selling form at more farmer’s markets, at the farm stand, and in more local restaurants, smoothie shops, and maybe even grocery stores.

We now have electricity to our FarmStand and will be soft opening this fall!

There is some Farm Merch available in our online Shop. Buying our T-Shirts directly supports our farm.

We also sell custom woodworking items like: fruit crates in various sizes, coffee tables, and other rustic, farm-style home decor. D’crate your living space.

The aspirations reach so much further, though, starting from the grass roots and below the surface of the soil to as high as a honey bee can fly..maybe higher.

We have Free Range Chickens!!! Their delicious eggs are available in our FarmStand in Calhoun.

The honey bee farm is constantly increasing in size. The more hives we have, the less honey (stored bee food) we have to harvest from each hive. This allows the bees plenty of food throughout the winter. Many beekeepers take a lot of honey out of the hives and feed the bees sugar-water, which in my opinion is greedy and irresponsible. We build our own bee hives and equipment, and we are constantly planting more flowers.

When people say “pick yourself up by your boot straps”, they never mention that you have to get boots first, lace them up, then wear them in first. Many obstacles have come and gone and we see more in the distance up ahead, but we’re determined to keep growing.

Our Story

Wall Greens Farm & Seed is just your typical side-of-the-road farm stand in the age of the internet. It shouldn't have to be said, but we never add chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, or insecticides to anything, especially our grocery list. We don't need them. Fertilizers used in our gardens are certified organic and from sustainable sources. Our heirloom and/or organic seeds stretch out of a macro- and micro- nutrient rich soil that is very much alive. Building up the soil provides ample nutrients and is what starts the "grass roots". If there is a pest problem, we look to their predators for a solution. Maintaining a large variety of plants, shrubs, and trees throughout the year allows for a full spectrum of bugs, birds, lizards, frogs, and more. We strive to live in a symbiotic relationship with all the variables of nature from the bio-chemistry of the soil to the complex forms further up the list.
